Okay, I know it’s wee bit early in the season, but you guys…I am so pumped for peaches. I’ll apologize in advance for posting way too many peach themed pictures on instagram, BUT COME ON, can you blame me?? I cannot wait to bombard you with peach recipes.
I attempted to make cinnamon rolls the other night, totally failed at cutting them (aka, too lazy), so I made a cinnamon roll cake. This might just be the greatest thing ever. I think Jesse agrees.
Okay, you guys, I need to know how you feel about food trucks because they’ve become a part-time passion of mine. This works for Jesse and I because he’s all about beer and I’m all about food. Two things that go nicely together and at most breweries in Boulder, you can find a food truck parked outside. I dig it. Below is a street taco with a heavy handful of kale on top. I think tacos trucks are my new favorite type of food truck. Or at least a tie with the truck dishing up the homemade pesto and gnocchi we had a few weeks ago.
Fun fact, whenever I take food photos, Loki is not far. I usually don’t include him in the pictures for my recipes, but here’s a little behind the scenes of where he posts up while I’m taking photos.
Loki also helps me write posts – isn’t that sweet of him? He has excellent grammar skills and knows when to say “mom, there are too many bad puns in this post”. He’s my toughest critic.
Do you know if it is still popular to post pictures of your grocery cart? I feel a bit behind on this trend.
Actually, all trends.
Any thats about it. Here’s a few links for ya:
Running in these babes. Yeah, I still run. It’s a thing. I just don’t race (right now…who knows, maybe a marathon is in the near future).
Making this Goddess Curry Chicken from Pinch of Yum, with some bagels from Woodgrain. Fo sho.
If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you should. You get many more Loki pictures. If the ol’ instagram isn’t your jam, check out the facebook page. Also, if you like jam, you may like these hand pies.
