I signed off 3 emails today “have a great weekend!” before I realized it’s only Tuesday😶.

Maybe I forgot what day it was...or maybe my subconscious just wanted to close the door for people emailing me again this week.

In other news Bertie’s new leaf finally opened up today and is a real stunner🌿👏🏽

I found a stash of pumpkin purée in the pantry so we made some slightly out of season, but totally delicious pumpkin pancakes. (I’m usually team waffles, but my waffle iron is still out of commission, anyone know how to fix a waffle iron?? I hate to toss mine, it’s a quality item)

And for the record, I won that round🏆

Also, anyone get the “quality item” reference?

Saturday morning. The day my body tells me to wake up an hour earlier than I usually do during the week (which is already pretty damn early). Anyone else have this problem??

Anyways, here are two cuties in some of my favorite pots. Thinking about doing a little succulent variety indoor garden to bring some warmth into the house for winter. They have a premium spot on top of the radiator and by the full spectrum light. So cozy, so bright🌵💡

Keeping a Bird of Paradise happy during a dry, cold Vermont winter is proving to be a challenge - who knew? But with the help of an full spectrum lightbulb and several humidifiers, Bertie is proving to be a champ 🏆 ...not one but TWO new leaves in January....pretty sure I can do anything now 🙌🏽🌱
